Safe, contactless, and designed to fill the void of monthly parking, HonkPASS is a solution that generates stable recurring revenue for parking operators while providing flexibility and convenience for parkers.

The coronavirus pandemic disrupted monthly parking. With more businesses implementing a work-from-home model and school campuses shifting to online learning, demand for predictable monthly parking has all but dried up in commercial, educational and municipal parking facilities. Parking lot operators are faced with mounting costs of excess capacity, enforcing near-empty lots, and trying to attract parkers to their facilities.

HonkPASS is a prepaid package of electronic parking credits that can be redeemed for parking at a single location or within a group of locations during a specified period (e.g., 10 days in a calendar month). Using HonkPASS is simple – one parking credit equals one parking session – drivers simply enter the parking facility, select an available parking credit and head out on their way. Their vehicle is registered as compliant in the HONK system for the specified duration.

HonkPASS is 100% contactless. Drivers can purchase HonkPASS by either downloading the HonkAPP or navigating to Gone are the days of purchasing a monthly permit in-person – it can now all be done from the comfort and safety of a phone or computer.
