FORT WORTH, TX, June 7, 2023 – HONK, North America’s leading provider of contactless payments for parking and mobility, and the International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI), the leading association of parking and mobility professionals, have joined forces to promote sustainability and community outreach at the 2023 IPMI Conference & Expo that’s taking place between June 11-14 in Fort Worth, Texas. The partnership aims to raise funds for the local community by encouraging conference exhibitors to donate items they do not plan to ship back to the Welman Project, a charity that reuses materials received from businesses.
Exhibitors can leave items on the event floor post-conference, secure in the knowledge that they will be put to good use in the classroom and beyond through charities associated with the Welman Project. Preferred donation items include booth furniture, promotional items, and notepads and pens. In addition to reducing waste output, recycling protects the environment from the carbon emissions produced from shipping expo items.
