COLUMBUS, OH, May 22, 2024 – HONK, North America’s leading provider of contactless payments for parking, and the International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI), the premier association of parking and mobility professionals, are teaming up for a consecutive year to enhance sustainability and community support at the 2024 IPMI Parking & Mobility Conference & Expo. This year, the initiative will benefit the United Way of Central Ohio, which will work with over 91 local charities to redistribute donated items.
Exhibitors at the conference are encouraged to donate any materials they choose not to return home with, including booth furniture, promotional items, and office supplies. These items will be made available to the local charities, who are invited to come onsite on Wednesday, June 12, to select and collect donations. This effort not only supports local communities but also significantly reduces the event’s environmental impact by minimizing waste and carbon emissions associated with transporting these items back home.
